I AM LIVING IN OHIO

I was invited to tour THE CANNABIS MUSEUM. It is located near Athens, Ohio. Absolutely the most comprehensive collection of cannabis materials on the planet. It starts with Africa, exhibiting a collection of paraphernalia and , some hundreds of years old. It exhibits glass bottles, some still containing residue, from all over the world. Everything dates from the 1600’s, or earlier, to today. I was shown documents, newspaper articles, posters, advertisements and prescriptions from when cannabis was completely legal.

They number in the thousands. If you are interested in the history of cannabis, and the war on drugs, this is the place to go. In the photo above is the curator, Don Wirtshafter and I (Paul Free). In his hand is a photo of himself standing in front of the White House holding a poster with my name and photo on it with the words: FREE PAUL FREE. I was in prison with a life sentence when that photo was taken. They are in the process of moving into a new much larger building which can house such a huge collection.

What a great thing to be able to shake his hand and thank him for advocating for my release.

I ONLY WISH I COULD HUG EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME.

DISPENSARIES WORK TO CHANGE CANNABIS FROM A SCHEDULE-I CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE TO A SCHEDULE-III. WRONG!

By Freed Paul Free

WE ARE NOT HOPING THAT THE GOVT WILL CHANGE CANNABIS FROM A SCHEDULE-I DRUG TO A SCHEDULE III DRUG; NOT LIKE SOME OTHER SO-CALLED ADVOCATES WHO APPARENTLY PROSTITUTE THEMSELVES FOR THE DISPENSARY DOLLAR. WE WILL NOT REST UNTIL CANNABIS IS REMOVED FROM THE LIST OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES AND ALL POT PRISONERS ARE FREE.

WE WERE ABLE TO GET MANY TOYS FOR KIDS OF PRISONERS THANKS TO YOU.

On December 20 we began to distribute toys, all wrapped, to children of prisoners. Below is a picture of these toys on the back of our car.
LEGALIZE CANNABIS & EXPUNGE CONVICTIONS letter

By Freed Paul Free

But will it make it through? Good chance it wont but at least people are talking about it. We can call our representatives & urge them to join those pushing this bill forward.

PLEASE CONTACT YOUR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS. LETS GET ALL POT-PRISONERS HOME!

ALL FORMER POT PRISONERS & THOSE WHO HELPED THEM GET OUT
THERE WERE MORE THAN A DOZEN OTHER MEN & WOMEN THERE WHO HAD SPENT TIME IN PRISONS FOR WEED.
West Palm Beach
April 2021

In 4/20, I was flown to West Palm Beach as a guest. There were more than a dozen other men & women there who had spent time in prisons for weed. IT WAS AMAZING! Also there were a dozen folks who advocated for our release including from FREEDOM GROW & LIFEFORPOT. ALL DOT COMS/ORGS.

We were treated to everything including a fishing tournament on a boat where I received a trophy for catching the first fish. Someone else caught the biggest, a huge Bonito which the boat captain said was the largest he had ever seen. I agreed.

Beth Curtis, of lifeforpot.com, was there with me and was recognized as the one person most responsible for obtaining freedom for 22 of us.

There were so many hugs & smiles and a few tears too. Great food, conversation & fun. I got to meet so many who were locked up as I was. Many I had only seen pictures of or read a summary of their consequences before. I had an especially great time with Randy Lanier, the 1986 Indy Car Rookie of the Year. He had spent decades in prison for pot. As we left I thought I’d probably never see these folks again; but, as we all know all too well… how horrible it is to be in prison, (especially for something that I can order delivered to the house), we all want to help get all those left behind – everyone out of prison who is there for these stupid federal marijuana laws. So, we all came together again two months later to help bring awareness to cannabis prohibition in the federal judicial system at ASHEJAM at Asheville, North Carolina. For three days we listened to some great live music. They had two bandstands & dozens of vendors selling CBD products of every imaginable type and we spoke to everyone and we collected thousands of signatures on letters to President Biden urging him to release all pot-prisoners.
