PROFILE:
Harold grew up in Buffalo, NY. His parents are deceased. He has three sisters. His brother passed away since he has been in custody. He has always been a hard worker. He shoveled snow, mowed lawns and would shine shoes at night in the bars. As an adult he worked in a pizza shop as a cook and food preparation, also in electrical, plumbing and roofing and became an owner. He says he is “a self-starter, and a pretty good cook.” He adds “that is why I’m round” He plans to take a CDL program in the prison Camp soon and he has job offers driving a dump truck for a plumbing company. He has no military experience. He was charged, went to trial, and was convicted of manufacturing 1,000 or more cannabis plants and possession of an assault rifle in furtherance of drug trafficking. Even if you never fired the weapon and only had it for your personal protection, if it has an extended clip they charge you like that. Harold has kept himself busy while in prison taking classes such as Electronics, CPR, Electrical residential and commercial; flooring, computers, H.V.A.C., Money Smart, Business Management, Advanced Math, 7-F.S.A classes, and is waiting for the Non-residential drug program ECT. Harold suffers from hypertension. He states “I did a lot of dumb things when I was younger, but compared today's youth, I was an angel. If I knew then what I know today, I would have waited 20 years to grow marijuana legally. I am grateful for all the support I have been getting, GOD BLESS EVERYONE.”
